We were told to leave an OUTSIDE table at Prezzo where we stopped for a coffee with our dog recently. The girl argued that it was a restaurant. It looked very much like a pavement to us! Exactly the same at Café Uno (who I think are the same Company). My daughter was also asked to leave an outside (pavement) table at Wetherspoons.
What I object to is that smoking is allowed outside. So it is unhygienic for my dog to lie under a table on the pavement, but it is apparently not unhygienic for the person at the next table to blow smoke over my food!
The Wall of Shame
We would like every business to welcome dogs and their owners, but this is not always possible and we respect that, but sometimes dog owners encounter crazy situations and spurious excuses.
The posts on this page are provided by readers and we would welcome feedback from businesses that are named - after all, there are always two sides to every story!
