Earlier this year me, my son and Patch and Sasha had a lovely holiday at Holywell Bay Park, Cornwall. The site is in the valley a 10 minute walk from the glorious Holywell Bay - Poldark Country ! The caravan was warm, comfy, well fitted out and sitting outside on a sunny afternoon it was peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed the easy walk down to the beach, with sand dunes for the more energetic (Jesse and Patch ) or level walk for the less so (me and Sasha)and Sasha even managed to chance some seagulls! A visit to Caerhays Castle gardens was a highlight, walking through the expansive grounds where the dogs were welcome in the dog friendly cafe. The castle and grounds are only open in the spring but the beach at the bottom of the drive has plenty of parking, a cafe/shop/toilets and is dog friendly all year. We will be returning !
Back on site there is an outdoor pool, play areas for children, a nice bar/ restaurant, cooked breakfast - yum ! There are walks through the valley and the site is well sheltered. Definately a family friendly site in a great location.
