Our stay at Wainsford Riverside Cottages in Cornwall must be one of the most dog friendly holidays we have ever had. We had our three Pointers with us and when we arrived there were dog crates already put up in the cottage for us. Apart from the small garden attached to the cottage there is also a fully fenced two and a half acre field for the dogs to run in. There are several dog walks within the grounds although they have to be on lead for most of them. When we arrived there was a bottle of wine, some shortbread biscuits for us, and gravy bones for the dogs. Also discs for their collars with the cottage details on them. There was also a dog bath, dog towels, throws for the furniture, etc. It certainly was Pointer Paradise! We found the whole of Cornwall to be very dog friendly with dog water bowls outside many shops and eating places. The cottages are situated about midway between the north and the south coast so plenty choice as to where you might want to visit. We took the dogs to Par Beach which is very dog friendly even in July. There is a pub, the Halfway House, within walking distance of the cottages although we took the car. It too is dog friendly. We had a very good lunch there. Suffice to say we would visit Wainsford Riverside Cottages again, and again, and again!
